As Founder of Greener+, my curiosity about sustainability was ignited when I worked as a journalist for Times Kids in China, where I participated in a shadow program with the Danish Consulate, attended the Yangtze River Carbon Neutral Forum, and interviewed LEGO on its sustainability initiatives. Relocating from Shanghai to Singapore further fueled my passion, as I immersed myself in eco-workshops and campus sustainability projects. A trip to Bali, where I saw Liina Klauss' powerful 5000 Lost Soles installation, along with my participation in a debate on banning single-use plastics, deepened my understanding of the crisis and the lack of action. I believe as youth, we don’t have to wait until we’re older to make a difference—I have an idea, and we can start acting now.

As Co-Founder of Greener+, I’ve always been passionate about our connection with nature. Too often, environmental protection feels distant—something extra, even burdensome. But small choices, like bringing a cloth bag, can scale into massive impact when adopted collectively. Sustainability isn’t about sacrifice; it’s about meaning. What if simple, mindful acts became part of who we are—and even something to be proud of? At its core, environmentalism is about reconnecting with the world and recognizing our role in shaping a greener future—together.
By combining scientific rigor with youth activism, we're engineering real solutions, from microplastic-eating enzymes to mycelium-based packaging, proving environmental innovation must begin with ecological wisdom.
